Emergency Medical Services
The Morgan’s Point Resort Fire Department provides high-quality Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at all times. The department responds 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to provide patient care and assist Scott and White Ambulance Service. Our first responders consist of Emergency Care Attendants (ECA), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B) Intermediates (EMT-I) and Paramedics (EMT-P). Our First Responders continuously train to the most up to date procedures.
The Morgan’s Point Resort Fire Department delivers the services necessary to minimize the loss of life and property threatened by the hazards of fire, medical and rescue emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, swift water rescues and all water related emergencies on Belton Lake including firefighting and emergency medical response. Our department has the only emergency watercraft on the lake with firefighting capabilities.
It is the goal of the Training Division is to provide training programs and opportunities that will enhance the efficiency of our firefighters. We strive to provide the most up to date training techniques in order to retain a proactive approach to firefighting. Our Training Division is under the leadership of Assistant Chief Ralph Orlando.
