Responsibilities

The Maintenance Department has the responsibility for ensuring the safety and maintaining the condition of all public streets, alleys, and rights of ways.

Services Provided

  • Pothole patching
  • Crack sealing
  • Asphalt paving
  • Asphalt rejuvenation
  • Street cleaning
  • Snow and ice removal from streets
  • Alley grading
  • Chip sealing
  • Leaf collection
  • Unplugging drains or sumps
  • Stormwater drainage
  • Facility maintenance
  • Street construction projects

The gates are open from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The location is the Brush Area next to the Emergency Service Center at 6 Lake Forest Dr. NO BATTERIES, PAINT, TIRES, and NO CHEMICALS AT ALL. All other items are accepted.

Brush Recycling Area Hours & Closed Schedule

The Brush Recycling Areas is OPEN every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM  EXCEPT for Holiday Weeks; when it is closed.  

For Example, the week of the 4th of July in 2019, the brush recycling area will be closed on that Saturday, July 6, 2019.

The brush recycling area is located behind 6 Lake Forest Drive.

Here are the 2019-2020  dates the Brush Area is CLOSED:

        July 6th-Independence Day

        Aug 31st- Labor Day

        Nov 9th- Veteran’s Day

        Nov 30th- Thanksgiving

        Dec 21st- Christmas

        Dec 28th- Christmas

        Jan 4th- New Year’s

        Jan 18th- MLK

        Feb 15- Valentines

        April 11th- Easter

        May 23rd- Memorial Day

        June 20th- Father’s Day
