We have instituted protocols within our various city departments to help keep the public safe and to fight against the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Our goal is not to make things more difficult on our residents, but to help ensure the health and safety of our community. The situation with Coronavirus is very fluid. Therefore, this page will be updated as things change and new information becomes available. Governor Greg Abbott today issued an Executive Order (GA-34) lifting the mask mandate in Texas and increasing capacity of all businesses and facilities in the state to 100 percent. "This executive order rescinds most of the Governor's earlier executive orders related to COVID-19. Effective next Wednesday, all businesses of any type may open to 100% capacity. Additionally, this order ends the statewide mask mandate in Texas. Businesses may still limit capacity or implement additional safety protocols at their own discretion."
